I already mentioned in my previous post that I was quite busy the past weeks, that was actually the main reason why I haven't updated this blog for quite some time now, since my schedule at that time won't allow it. And I've observed that my traffic is dropping like a rock and it worries me a lot. Nonetheless, I'm back on track right now and I have all the time in the world to jot down anything and everything under the sun or anything that interests me since I have a lot of spare time now, and I have to take advantage of it. ( LMAO ). Nevertheless, this won't take that long since I'll definitely look for a day job once everything is okay already but not anytime soon, since right now, I'm not yet in good shape to look for another one.

Anyway, I promised that I'll keep you posted whatever the outcome will be. I really don't know what to feel at this very moment since I did see this thing coming since day 1. I actually felt it from the very beginning that this thing wasn't really for me. This wasn't the kind of profession I really wanted to pursue in the first place.

Nevertheless, I do admit that when I heard my trainor uttered those words, I'm a bit disappointed with myself for the reason that I honestly believe that I could have done better. Even though I have invested so much time on that particular training, but the thing here is that I never made an effort just to understand what has been tackled.

Additionally, I did see that they worked their butts off just to get in, and they really went out of their way just to understand everything, but me on the other hand was the exact opposite. I didn't take the said training seriously to begin with, maybe because I didn't find it interesting or simply because there's something that I'm dying to pursue for years now, that's why I wasn't really into it. I may be there physically but my mind wasn't really into it.

Even though I haven't enjoyed the whole training, and yes, I can honestly say that I did find it boring or something, but it was undoubtedly worth the time.

To top it all off, it was actually a humbling experience for me and I learned something new every single day, which is the most important thing for me regardless of the outcome.

 I've been very busy these past weeks that's why I wasn't able to update this blog for quite some time now. Nevertheless, since I really love this personal blog of mine, I couldn't help myself but to miss what I love to do for years now which is blogging. I just promised it to myself that no matter how busy I am, I should make it appoint to update this blog, and write posts at least twice or thrice a month, or even beyond than that if ever my schedule allows it.

Anyway, I've been very busy with the stuff that I think I've been dying to do for years now. It is something that I've been dreaming to do the past years but maybe 2011 is really a lucky year for me that's why I got in (lol). I've tried this particular thing a few years back, but the thing here is that I'm not fortunate enough to be successful the first, second, third and so on and so forth tries ( LMAO). I'm quite happy that I was able to make it this time around, and to realize that I do have a day job already. And not to mention, this is really a perfect example that once you really worked hard, you'll eventually reap the fruits of your labor in God's perfect time.

Additionally, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I could be able to make it and pass this particular training, since I'm a bit worried because I don't consider myself a techie person. Some of the things and the terminologies I'm encountering every single day are all new to me. This is a tough journey I must say since there are a lot of stuff that I need to deal with aside from the techie stuff, however, I'm hoping for the best that everything will turn out the way I expected, which are the positive ones of course. Actually, I'm working my butt off just to get in. This is definitely a new career path, a new journey. And I'm very much wishing that 2011 would really be a great year for me...I really hope so.

We’ve been hearing and reading a lot of articles on the net for almost 2 months now that Mariel Rodriguez is transferring to TV5, the Kapatid network. In fact, I got to see the video a month ago wherein Pokwang and Mariel greeted Willie Revillame. When I’ve seen it, I was really surprised since at that time she was still in HYY ( Happy Yipee Yehey ) , and I had no idea on what’s really going on. If I’m not mistaken, that particular video was the main reason why a lot of people were saying and started thinking if she is really moving to TV5. Hearing this issue a few months ago was very surprising since as we all know she’s been in the Kapamilya network for several years now.

I have changed my blog's background today, and as what you can see it's all Pink since obviously, I do love Pink shades, that's why I decided to have a Pink background. Not to mention, this blog is all about the girls' interests, so a Pink color would be the best choice for this blog, and it really suits my blog I must say. And as we all know most girls love this shade, so it would be better to have a Pink theme for a girly blog. Actually, I've been thinking about changing my blog's background the past days, and it was just yesterday that I decided to create one. So here it is, my blog's new Pink background.

Anyway, the past weeks I've been very busy both online and offline, the main reason why I haven't updated this blog the past days. So, definitely this week I'll write more articles for this blog, preferably 2 or 3 posts this week if my schedule allows it. That's a lot but I'll try to achieve it this week.

I was surprised that my entry yesterday about Charice Pempengco was indexed by Mr. Google in just a short span of time. In fact, I really thought that it will be indexed the next day, but I'm surprised that Google had indexed that particular entry in just a matter of minutes. And because of it, a lot of people landed on my blog when they searched some keywords regarding Charice at Teen Choice Awards 2011. So, thank you so much Mr. Google...*lol*

Moreover, right after I wrote an entry about Charice yesterday, I've noticed a significant increase of my blog's traffic yesterday, and today as well. I think one of the reasons why I do have a lot of hits for 2 consecutive days is because that article I wrote was shared on ChariceTVCrew.com- which is an internet forum. By the way, here are the screen shots:

And I'm just so surprised to see that a lot of people were actually retweeting  the link of the said forum or thread where my post was shared. Thank you guys!

And lastly, I just want to thank the person who really took time to read my entry, and who made an effort to share it with everyone there.I'm just glad that there's someone out there who actually appreciate the things I wrote about Charice. And I'm really looking forward to writing more entries about her in the coming days.

I’m sure that a lot of Filipinos were happy to see Charice Pempengco at this year’s Teen Choice Awards a few weeks back. She was there to present an Acuvue Inspire award to Demi Lovato, and not to mention, she was the very first Filipino to be a presentor at TCA.

Aside from Miss Lea Salonga, that undeniably made us proud not just today but way back in her Miss Saigon days, there are some Filipino singers as well that could truly make us proud, such as Apl.de.Ap which of course we all know that he’s a member of Black eyed peas, Arnel Pineda, the new lead singer of Journey, Charice Pempengco, and Lani Misalucha.The story of Arnel Pineda and Charice Pempengco are truly inspiring, and both of them have one thing in common which is: they were both discovered through their videos on You Tube.

Another Filipina singer that makes us proud to be Filipino is Lani Misalucha. She was at the peak of her career here in the Philippines when she decided to live in the US for good, and try her luck there. Right now, Lani is making a name for herself in Las Vegas, and I honestly believe she’ll make it big there and with that amazing voice, I'm sure she'll go a long way.

And lastly, a lot of Filipinos were also very proud and ecstatic when they have seen Charice at Teen Choice Awards this year as a presentor, that made her as the very first Filipino to present an award at TCA. She presented an Acuvue Inspire award to Demi Lovato. Moreover, she also has a movie with Salma Hayek herself entitled “Here Comes the Boom", which is something to look forward to as well.

Most of us girls are really wishing that our very first dates would be something that is quite memorable. If you're the kind of girl that is already ready to commit into a serious relationship, but you're just waiting for the right one to come, whom you want to share your life with.

So, if ever you would go on a date with a guy, you have to make sure that this person really deserves your attention, wherein you could really tell that he's worthy of your time, simply because you do feel and see that he's the type of guy that is really serious in getting to know you better.

Furthermore, he should be someone that knows how to respect a girl, and a true gentleman as well. It would really feels great once you know that a guy has so much respect for you, and I genuinely believe that all of us deserve this kind of treatment, since once someone would really treat you very well, you'll definitely feel that you're the most special girl on earth, which is an amazing feeling I must say . Additionally, aside from these things, the most important of all is that, he should be the person that genuinely likes you, since it really feels good how a guy exerts an effort just to show to you that he indeed likes you.

This is such a good news to all the AI fans out there, for the reason that the American Idol season 10 finalists such as Lauren Alaina, Haley Reinhart, Jacob Lusk, James Durbin, Paul McDonald, Casey Abrams, Pia Toscano, Naima Adedapo, Stefano Langone, our very own Thia Megia, and this season’s grand winner, Scotty McCreery will be having a one night concert at the Araneta Coliseum, on September 20, 2011 at 8 pm.

Kylie Minogue

The famous Australian singer and actress Kylie Minogue was in the Philippines for the very first time a few days back for her one night concert at the Araneta Coliseum last July 5, 2011. Philippines was included in her “Aphrodite" concert tour. This concert was one of the much anticipated concerts of international singers here in the Philippines this year, both the ordinary people and even the Filipino celebrities really made time to watch Kylie Minogue's live performance at the big dome. A lot of celebrities were there and as a matter of fact, after the huge success of  his concert at the big dome last July 1 entitled "Unkabogable", Vice Ganda  watched the said concert wearing fabulous outfit, and because he exerted an effort for that outfit, it was no surprise at all why he was chosen by Kylie Minogue herself, as the best dressed in the concert of multi-talented Australian singer/actress in Araneta that night.

Additionally, after the concert, the international singer even said on her twitter account that Vice Ganda won as the best dressed in her concert in Manila. And the host was so ecstatic after reading the tweet from Kylie and replied to her that he was so thankful for choosing him that night.

I'm sure that Kylie wowed the crowd with her amazing performances and with her fabulous outfits as well that night. And no doubt that her Filipino fans are still looking forward to the next Kylie Minogue's concert in Manila.

I'm just glad that after I checked the page rank of thegirlsinterests.com a while ago, I'm happy to say that it has now a page rank of 1 already. This one is a 6 month old blog and my very first blog here in blogger. I thought that it'll be forever pr 0 but I'm glad that its page rank has increased and now, I'm starting to see the positive results of my hard work. I just so love this blog since this was the very first one that I created a year ago right after I decided to create my own blog.

I just hope that in the coming months, the pr of this one will still increase, and I'm very much willing to work on it like writing entries a couple of times per week, and so on just to make it possible. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed and I'm hoping for the best.

Miley Cyrus

The popular international teen singer/actress, Miley Cyrus or Miley Ray Cyrus in real life, is in the Philippines right now since she will be having a concert at 8pm tonight, June 17 at SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds. She arrived last Wednesday night.

Some of her popular songs are "The Climb", "Party in the USA", "Can't Be Tamed" and so on.

It was also reported that the Philippines is the only Asian country that is included in her Gypsy Heart World Tour 2011.

It is a one-night concert only. I'm sure a lot of her fans will be having a lot of fun watching her perform live on stage tonight.This is definitely one of the much anticipated concerts of the year.

Meteor Garden

The famous K-pop girl group 2ne1 arrived in the Philippines yesterday afternoon since they will be having a concert today at the Araneta Coliseum, wherein they are going to sing their famous songs such as Fire, I don't care, Lollipop and so on.

This is a dream come true for the 2ne1's Filipino fans, and of course, Filipino's will now get to see the new Sandara Park that was labelled as "pambansang krung-krung ng Pilipinas" when she was still an actress here in the Philippines,  performing alongside other 2ne1 members. This concert was supposed to be on May 15 but since their schedule didn't allow it, they have to reschedule the concert on June 4.

I've read an article about this movie from one of my favorite sites, vigilantcitizen.com and it makes me curious to really watch it. This movie is actually a long time ago, 10 years ago to be exact since it was shown in 2001. After reading through the article, I just want to grab a copy of it, since the author really did a good job in sharing his/her knowledge about the topic.

According to the article, this movie tackles the dark side of the music industry and that's what I really want to figure out. And with the help of this movie, I hope that some of the questions I have in mind will be answered and it would really open my eyes when it comes to the reality of today's music.

I believe that the likes of Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Britney Spears are absolutely famous, a lot of people, especially the young girls go crazy over them, and they don't care about the fashion sense or the out of this world outfits of Lady Gaga. However, there's something in their music videos, most especially Lady Gaga's videos that I think most of the scenes were too irrelevant at times, that made you wonder why such act or symbols were shown, when in fact those stuff have nothing to do with the lyrics of the song, that made the video looks absurd, just like the creepy smile of Britney Spears in her "Hold It Against Me" music video. And not to mention, if you have noticed, it's already a trend now, some of the videos we've seen on the mainstream are really like this. I actually don't know what's the meaning behind those symbols that we oftentimes seen in music videos of various artists nowadays,which I'm sure all of you guys have noticed as well, but I genuinely believe that there's a deep meaning of it though, that most of us are not yet aware of.

How fast time flies since it has been 6 months since I created this blog. Actually, The Girls' Interests.com was my very first blog. This one was created last October, until I decided to purchase a domain name for this blog last December of last year. I was skeptical back then, if I should buy one or not, nevertheless, I'm just glad I've made the right move to purchase a domain name.

As the blog title implies, this humble blog is basically about the girls' interests like love and relationships, dating, beauty tips, friendship and the likes, or anything that girls would be interested in.
